    2021 RS6 Air Suspension failure

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
2021 RS6 no suspension mods, 13500 miles. If I leave the car parked for more than 2 days the front air suspension collapses and the car is slammed. I’ve been to dealer with this issue and the found no fault. If I drive the car it resumes normal height and the car suspension settings work normally. Any ideas or similar experiences? Somehow the attached photo is rotated and the top of the wheel well is to the left.

Does the virtual cockpit give you a "Suspension too low. Please wait" style message when starting up in this condition? I received a message indicating as such once after my car sat for over a week when temps spanned from 30s to 0/sub-zeroF. The suspension adjusted and the message cleared after 10-15 seconds or so. I would think if you are not receiving a message of some kind, there is some ride-height calibration problem.

Yes I get that message. But still I’m assuming something is wrong because the car is absolutely slammed???

Mine didn't look as low as the image you shared when I got the message. If there is a small leak in the system that is going to increase the wear on the pump. I can't think of any air suspension setup being "normal" looking slammed after a couple days of non-usage. I've let mine sit for a couple weeks with no discernable suspension drop.

Sounds like standard dealer "within spec" stuff. Gonna have to push or maybe try another dealer.

I think you are correct, before it would take a week of inactivity, now just a day or two. Even if they don’t fix I want it noted so when out of warranty it’s not all of a sudden a $$$$ fix. Thanks for your input. Taking it tomorrow and will update here

No fault in system found but at least it’s noted should it become an issue

    Any update on your issue?

Last summer, my 21 S6 would drop if left for a few weeks, which is eh, understandable.

Now it’s dropping the driver front only and after just 1 day it’s bottomed out. Obviously there’s a leak and/or damage to that area. It gives me a fault upon startup, but then clears after it airs back up.

Dealer said they didn’t find a leak BUT the issue is documented so in the future should not be a problem if not under warranty. I drive the car daily son has not been sitting for more than a day so not dropping for now

Will do. I'm taking it in tomorrow for the 4 recalls and hopefully they'll find the leak.

The dealer found a leak in the driver's front air strut. They are currently waiting for parts to arrive.

Forgot to update. My car finished up on 4/19 and it's perfect. Audi Seattle did a good job.

I found my 21 RS6 dropped its suspension after being parked for 3 days. Will have the dealer check it out when I do the next service.
