The IE team on their website say they can run E60-E85 but im not sure if thats with their HPFP or not
Also, there is apparently news that 034 is coming out with new CREC engine related products
1. Can you run straight E85?
Yes, kind of, but mainly yes. I had intermittent issues on IE Single Pulley E85.
2. Can you run Dual Pulley?
Yes, kind of, the CREC motor uses a magnetic supercharger clutch which is reported to have issues on dual pulley setups. Some people weld the supercharger clutch disks but that will throw a CEL, others just run it and see how long their supercharger clutch will last. GAS is coming out with a billet supercharger clutch delete and their most recent update says they expect to ship initial orders mid-January 2024. The bigger issue is finding a tuner who offers a dual pulley tune for it. I've heard IE has a file, but you need to email them and ask for it. Same with Jackal.

Regarding their HPFP, its for the C7 and B8 & B8.5 folks, not crec. The crec HPFP is different and already higher flowing than the C7 and B8 & B8.5 S4. You do not need to upgrade your HPFP to run E85. I bought an extra HPFP and upgraded it using the Autotech piston, didn't help, saving it for later incase i actually need it. IE has a single pulley E85 file out (I have this) and it works but I had intermittent issues for nearly a year and no one can figure it out. The issue was even present on the IE 93 octane file. After replacing the entire fuel system and doing the back and forth with IE tech support to no avail, I switched to Jackal and poof, no more issues. I'm not saying it was the tune, but it's one hell of a coincidence. In talking with people smarter than me, the leading theory (which is beyond my knowledge base) is that the car was requesting too high of a LPFP duty cycle and it triggers some kind of fuel pump limp mode. If you pull over and turn off and on the car resets and you're good to go again until the issue comes back. I'm building a dual brushless LPFP setup and we'll see if that can flow enough for E85. fingers crossed.

They have been saying that for a while with no news, updates or ETA. It seems like Jackal is the only tuner actively updating and providing news on CREC tunes. So far they've been great.
