Please help - mmi3g+ retrofit camera

Hi guys
I was tried find on forum , but nothing similar.
I have problem with my mmi 3g+ (no sim) ,my car is FL. I have front and rear PDC. I would like to install retrofit camera, when I'm coding in VCDS 09 module it is adopts coding fine. When Im activating in 5F 'MENU reversing camera' adopts coding also. But when Im trying to switch on reversing gear/press PDC button nothing come on screen, no even original PDC visualization gone. When I remove from 5F this 'MENU reversing camera' everything back to normal. Do any one how to sort it?

You need to find someone else with a B8.5 with OPS and backup camera and see what settings they have between the J794 coding and the MMI green menu. You have installed the J772 backup camera control module, cabled it to the J794 and other things it needs connection, etc? When the 5F coding byte 7 bit 1 is checked, afterwards do you have any DTCs in a full vehicle scan? Doesn't seem anyone has documented the backup camera retrofit in a B8.5 OPS vehicle to anything I would call sufficient. Thus why better to just find a vehicle with the target configuration and see what's set on it.

I thought it will work like in mmi 3g low/basic, where you do not need add anything if you have front and rear sensors, but it is looks different

I had issues with my rear view camera retrofit. You need to post the full VCDS scan.

You need the J772 backup camera control module regardless of the infotainment system. For a factory spec configuration.

If you're just running the FAKRA line from the R189 backup camera unit directly to the J794 MMI 3G unit, that's "doing it wrong". Whether it's 3G basic, 3G high, or 3G plus.
