Estimated hp/torque? Highway mpg? How would you describe the ride with this setup?
    Thanks

Wow, this one is amazing. Especially for the price. Many more miles to be had on that motor

Only if the rings have been done, if not it's a ticket time bomb, half the modded Allroad's I've been looking at have had it done either because they didn't want a break down or it did break down, typically the later. Of the other half left atleast the owners are honest about oil consumption, and trying a few things to combat consumption.

    Have the rings been addressed?

Sorry for the late response everyone.

For anyone actually interested in the car PM me for details and carfax.

    As for the general questions:
    - It hasn’t been dyno’d but APR says 258whp and 322wtq on 93 octane.
    - I don’t have records of the pistons being done but the car was thoroughly checked when the chain/tensioner/guides were done.

I haven’t had any excess consumption issues in the year that I’ve owned it so I haven’t bothered with any other preemptive maintenance other than timing chain.

Honestly the “ticking time bomb” sentiment is ridiculous and literally plagues every platform. The turbo’s were supposedly a “time bomb” when I had my S7 and nothing happened. The IMS was a “time bomb” on my 911 and guess what, nothing ever happened.

There are always be nuances and risks with used German but please stop with the fear mongering.

Not fear mongering when I literally stated the majority of every modified Audi Allroad has had it done, and/or there's been noted issues by seller. I've been OCD crackhead on OfferUp, Craigslist, E-Bay and Facebook Market Place on nationwide searches for over a year. While others watch NFL, Game of Thrones or binge Netflixing I'm doing nationwide searches.

And this is what I found, majority sitting at or less than 80k, overall have not had issues (with that mileage or less, only 3 have that I found were rebuilt), the issue starts to reveal itself around the ~100k mark. Most the time it's catastrophic (needs rebuild), the others are just putting up with high oil consumption.

A turbo going bad wouldn't be a ticking time bomb, I wouldn't say a clutch would be a ticking time bomb...but needing rings, or so bad you need an entire bottom end is a whole other story. The 2014 I might get this week had to have a full rebuild at 65k, hence the term "rolling the dice.", as you just don't know when. There has been a couple ones, sitting at ~120k+ that state no issues, no rebuild, no excess oil consumption...but that's a few, not the majority.

I'll fully understand the jokes about older German vehicles and such being blown up (zing! pun?), but this is a little different. GLWS

    All fair points.

I guess whoever ends up buying this (if anyone does) will need to assume preemptive maintenance into their budget or assume a hypothetical risk.

I bought it knowing that I’d have to do the timing chain but I did so because it checked all the other boxes for me. I did the chain because it helped me sleep better at night lol.
