Best jack pads for b9 rs5/s5

Looking to procure some jack pads for the rs5 sportback.

What pads have the best fitment? Looking to graduate from the hockey puck method and would like to find something audi-specific for this platform.

Got me beat, I'm still using the hockey pucks with slits in them.

I’ve got two types. I’ve got one type I bought on Amazon, Byenins, which is made of aluminum with a slot and nylon insert. The other type is just hard black rubber with a slot. They both work fine and I really cant say one works better than the other. The rubber one is a bit more forgiving I guess but the orange anodized Byenins looks better.

This post may be helpful in your quest for jack pads: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...=1#post7448527

These pads work equally well on the pinch welds of my S5.

Edit to note that the link to the Protech jack pads I had mentioned in that link above has changed to this: https://www.protechproducts.com/store/jack-pads-round. Hope that's helpful.

4” square 3/4” plywood works great for what it’s worth.

I've had the grey one for a few years now and couldn't find an equivalent a while back - so I got the red one. Both work perfectly well on the pinch weld. GL.

    I'm with ya.

Recently acquired my first Audi (2016 Allroad) and was somewhat disappointed that it didn't have lift pads (like nearly all the BMW's I've owned) which left me with the prospect of lifting via pinch welds. ugh....

A square spare chunk of 2x4 (grain perpendicular to the pinch weld) has always worked perfectly for my non-bourgeois vehicles. So, here I am, lifting this Audi with a block of wood. lol

All of these products have worked for me pretty well. I use a Daytona Floor jack and just basic Autozone Jack stands

I jack up the front pinch weld high enough to slide a jack underneath the rear pinch weld. Then i slide the jack under the front of the car and jack up where the front control arm bolts to the car, they are two large bolts. I jack that up with that large rubber pad i attached above and put a jack stand on the front pinch weld, i do the same on the other side. i wish there was a much more visible middle jack point on the front and rear of the car but havent seen anything that i can find. Might be able to find on the front with the bottom covers taken off but havent gotten that far. I have seen the rear subframe but unsure if the metal is thick enough in certain areas to lift half the car up. Anyone lift from rear sub-frame?
