I want to get an exhaust for my car that wont drone and won't be too loud, Awe seems like it would be significantly louder, As I don't have midpipes and a UNI Dp. Any suggestions? How is the APR Exhaust?

Just add some midpipes to it with the stock exhaust and see how you like it. Best mod that only takes 45 mins- hour to install.

Why don't you just buy the test pipes and just use the exhaust switch from the console? you will have the car quiet or sportier. I tried the standard exhaust and the RS sport exhaust and I tried the stock pipes and the test pipes and in my opinion the test pipes are a great combo with the standard or sport exhaust. Save yourself some money.

I had the AWE switchpath on mine. Perfect exhaust. Didn't drone and wasn't too loud, sport mode with valves more open it was great.

Have them in stock, can work you a deal on one. Text us!

I went with Milltek. Very happy. Quality through and through. Love the sound. Neighbors not so much but reasonable in standard drive mode. Sport mode sounds so damn nice without being obnoxious. Can find some reviews on YouTube with sound sample. Believe there are sound bites on the Milltek website as well.

i love my switchpath when the valve is open, it sounds absolutely glorious. there is a tiny bit of drone though. with the valve closed at 75 on the freeway there is a resonance that was not there with the oem setup. it's minor, but i notice it.

if you get the switchpath and do not have a tune that opens both flaps all the time in sport mode, be prepared to get a valve controller two because the passenger side valve behavior is dumb.

+1 on trying midpipes first. That brings the right amount of sound into the cabin at higher rpms and no drone at all. Plus it’s super cheap and easy to install yourself.

Mid pipes sound to be the right choice for what you are looking for. I put them on my car and they are perfect.

Valve controller (E.G. CETE or awe) and/or tune that opens valves in sport mode all the time (E.G. Uni) is something else to consider. Midpipes and valve controller also probably only enhance a cat back exhaust so worth trying first. I'm 100% good with midpipes, CETE valve controller and uni tune. CETE (or awe) is nice because you can undo valves open in sport mode if you want rowdy driving but not rowdy sound or have a dogbone mount that doesn't like idling below 1k rpm (most nvh of rpm band in my experience).

Do you find them to drone at all, do you also have midpipes?

APR....a little louder than stock but not obnoxious at all. Retains stock valves in same positions and dual exhaust all the way back (vs single pipe)

I have the pipes it's a good stopgap but I'm going full send on an exhaust early next year. This car needs moar sound. Sport exhaust is a joke I think it was quieter than my Civic stock. Looking at Provocateur best I've found sound wise -

I put in Milltek. It has the same sound as stock, just slightly louder. These cars don't seem to really respond much to exhaust upgrades. If I was doing it again, I'd probably just put in midpipes myself, it's a lot cheaper.

Which Milltek system did you get? Resonated, non resonated, race non resonated? I am tempted to get the race non resonated. Still a small muffler on it but straight through when the valves are open but I am curious about how it sounds with the valves closed.

I got the resonated, as I didn't want to risk being non-street legal. I took it to Road Atlanta on a Sunday and was flagged for noise violation during the track's "quiet time hours". However, that was in Sport. Once I put it back to Dynamic, they let me back on the track, so it is a lot louder in Sport mode. However, I almost never use Sport on the street because of the higher RPM shift points as I don't want to drone too much as well as tank my MPG. So if you're just cruising in anything but Sport, an aftermarket exhaust probably isn't worth it. The Milltek cost me $1800+install, and that was when it was on sale.
