After researching the VIN records and speaking with Audi USA, we concluded the car was originally purchased by a U.S. Military member while stationed in Germany. (Also, the front bumper had screw holes indicating a Euro plate spacing.)
I purchased the car in Nov. 2017 with 30K miles on the Odometer. After shipping to MN, and after a minor cosmetic repair, she was like-new with zero problems for the ~23K miles I’ve driven her.
Maintenance, etc.:
As a precaution, installed new iridium spark plugs and coil packs Nov. 2017
New brake pads on rear wheels 2022 (front pads still very good)
50% Window Tint and “Clear Bra” installed at Bravo Protection in Golden Valley, MN.
Only one modification: ECU tune (installed by “Further Performance, in Mpls) was my personal choice after trying a few options (APR, Malone, United Motorsports). Best performance overall IMO. The car can be driven as smoothly or as aggressively as desired, with perfect response from the driver’s input. I love the way this car performs.
Aesthics: Paint "Cuvee Silver" is uncommon and very cool. Pictures don't do it justice. The grey/black interior is the perfect complement. Audi's Sport Package slightly lowers the car and it flat out looks better than standard A4's. A few cosmetic dings which can be repaired with PDR (confirmed and quoted at DentKraft, MN) for a reasonable cost. This is what I did when I bought the car, and it was like new.
