Anyone running upgraded diverter valves on their SQ5? I saw that GFB makes one now for our platform. I’ve used for my previous VAG rides. Curious on thoughts. Currently stage 2 B9 93octane.
    Thanks.

Hey bud, I did try the one from Forge for a while but I wanted something that was more reliable and switched to Turbo Smart diverter valve. A much better option I have used it stage 2 and stage 3 plus. Excellent unit throws no codes.

They supposedly keep boost better between shifts. GFB usually has a little bit of data to show the differences in boost pressure between a stock and their DV+ option but it doesn't look like they have any data linked to this one for the B9 platform.
The only thing you will really notice is the different sound it makes when you let off the throttle under a bit of boost. You won't feel any "benefit" it may offer. I am sure the stock DVs on these cars are pretty solid and it doesn't seem like anyone with high mile 2018/2019 models have reported any failures. On stock turbo, the stock unit is totally fine. You may get more out of the upgraded DV on an upgraded turbo.

I can't speak to the 3.0 B9 GFBs, but I swapped to a GFB DV+ on my 2.0t A3 and could tell quite a bit of difference when I ran a k04. Power application felt more smooth and less surge-y and there seemed to be more oomph at the beginning of each gear.
