    Hi!

Anyone else running into a lot of issues with their Allroad?

So far it's been in 5 times for MMI upgrades/resets/diagnostics, blown driver side door speaker, second replacement passenger door mirror motor, today they finally agreed there was a drivetrain issue (not 'normal' AWD binding as they tried to play it off) but grinding sounds from center diff.....stating that multiple fluid flushes has 'rectified' this issue
This is Audi 4 in a row, and the first new car I've bough myself.......kind of annoyed because I went all in on a Prestige

Am I unlucky or is this car cursed?

Yikes dude, the B9 has collectively been judged as the most reliable generation Audi has made, so I wouldn't expect the B9.5 to stray too far from that. MMI I could understand as it's the first generation switching to a touchscreen, but everything else short of the air suspension should be a direct carryover from the 4 series, so it's a bit concerning that so much is going wrong with it.

There's no air suspension on the B9 vehicles except optionally on the Q5. A6 allroad has air. I certainly wouldn't call the B9 any more reliable than the B8, excluding the engine. The B9 2.0T with its coolant pump, thermostat housing, and wastegate actuator consistent issues is still better than the rings issue of the CAEB. But quattro ultra is a pos, and will become more so with mileage. And the MIB systems seems far more flaky than the MMI systems. To be expected, trying to shove all that functionality into a budget and time constrained side project which no doubt was not tested thoroughly. Even when it's the foundation of the company's product future, they aren't getting high marks (Cariad, cough).

There is a tech bulletin for the diff apparently! My service advisor wasn't aware, but thankfully the tech was. They flushed the fluids twice and so far, seems to be back to like new driving.
Mirror had some random code that they reset and now works without a new motor thankfully.....
Fingers crossed this is the last of the issues. Not holding great value and may be that #4 is the last Audi

Was going to mention the TSB so glad the tech was up to speed on it.

What mileage do you have on yours? Mine is a 23 and only just about to reach 6k miles but nothing in the way of issues. This is Audi#6 for me and will be my last new one only because they are no longer building anything interesting or that fits my lifestyle and likes but have not had any major issues but then most have been leases and turned in so not really long service lifes for me.

I ordered my 21 Allroad Prestige new. It now has 26k miles without a single repair….flawless. I bought a 2018 Allroad for a year while waiting for the 21 to be built. No problems with it either. I’ve had 10 Audi’s (A3 Sportback, Allroads, Q5’s, A8L’s, RS7 and R8)and all have been VERY good. Sorry to hear you’re having so many problems….it’s definitely not been the norm for me.
