    B6 rear seat covers

More dumb questions about my interior.

I took the time to reupholster my rear seat covers with OEM seat skins AND for the second time the FL sun destroyed-melted the RR seat cover, including the headrest! It shrunk and peeled away in chunks... again.

Anyone know any 60-40 seat covers that fit the rear seats! I am tired of looking and guessing.

    B6 rear seat covers

What do you mean by a seat cover? If you’re talking about the part that people rest their backs against, then you can use the A6 C6 ones. They’re the same size-wise. I’m running them myself. You’ll have to swap the skeletons ofc.

    Thanks..
but I have done that once already with the same result: the FL sun and heat cooking and melting them off.
The seat skin has peeled off twice now like old shoe leather.

And my windows are extra tinted.

Yes, I am looking for rear seat covers not reupholstering.

    Not yet.
"Project" is on the back burner for now,
But it needs to cover the headrest, as this peeled off as well.

It sucks to see it in my rearview mirror everyday.

    I don't want to spend a ton of $.

Can you post picks of what’s pealing and the parts you need?

    You sure?
Once you see it, you cannot un-see it...;-)

I can't upload a file without exceeding file size limit.
It is what it is.. "looks like old peeling black shoe leather" pretty much describes it.
The entire Pleather skin is coming off the underweave like a peeling retreaded tire from the belt.
    Thus is not repairable.

Also..keep in mind that I have replaced all the rear seat skins once for the same reason, because I thought I had done something to it. Now I know it is FL UV damage.
I am not replacing the skins again.
I just want to cover it cheaply so I don't have to look at it anymore.

Just like you did with your front seat covers, you can opt for custom-made rear seat covers. Many companies Wetokole that specialize in automotive upholstery and seat covers can create custom-fit covers for your specific make and model. This will ensure a perfect fit and better resistance to sun damage.

    Yup..that's "the look."

Might just get a complete set or deal with the rear seats first.

    Thanks!
