Suspension malfunction! you can continue driving - help

Hey all, new to Audi world and recently picked up a new to me 22 S3 all stock. Put new wheels/tires on it and RacingLine lower springs and I forgot to reconnect the sensor on the L/F shock so it caused the following warning "Suspension malfunction! You can continue driving". Reconnected it and purchased a OBDelevean to try and see the issue. Prior to reconnecting it showed "Left front dampening adjustment valve Fault code: C104013" which I cleared and that led to me finding the plug was not plugged in. But now the warning will not go away. Another basic setting code comes up as "C10C500" which will not clear no matter how many times I try to clear it in OBDeleven. Is this something Audi has to reset or am I just missing something?

You have to basic set the suspension...

This is something VCDS from Ross-tech can do. I have only ever had VCDS so not sure OBD 11 can basic set...

I had the exact same issue a few days ago after lowering my 19 RS3 with mag ride. After hours of researching, I found 1 post on the VW forums about a guy saying to drive vehicle up to 25 mph and it will reset itself. I tried it and sure it enough it went away lol. I was shocked.

    Try this:

disconnect negative battery cable for 15min.
visually check all connection harnesses were re-plugged until you hear a click. 4 in the front suspension = ABS sensor, wear pad sensor, the headlight adjustment rod connection & mag ride strut on bottom if you have it & 1 harness in rear struts top hat.
reconnect battery cable & take for drive up to 25mph.

How long did you have to drive at 25mph? I ordered the VCDS from Ross-Tech too but will try this as well.

Whelp drove for 20 mins at 25 and nothing happened, maybe its an 8V thing and not a 8Y thing. Made sure all connections were good and disconnected the battery for 15 mins. Hopefully the VCDS from Ross-Tech will do the job

Received the VCDS from Ross-Tech today and basic setting wouldn't work, didn't realize the wheels have to be off the ground fully extended before it will activate the calibration. Once I jacked up all 4 the calibration worked and fault code is now gone. I probably could've completed it with the OBDeleven but at that time didn't realize all the wheels had to be off the ground.

On a side note, went an placed an order for a RS3, i'm sure by the time I get it will be a 2025 facelift, so hopefully they don't change too much.

Good thing ya fixed it. Weird ya had to have all 4 wheels off the ground...but I guess it how it works
