Hi pitched RS3 engine sound (8V 2019)

Hi everyone,

New to the RS3 world and enjoying every minute of it. I have noticed that while idling there is a high pitched noise coming from between the intake pipe and engine bay. Could be harmonics just getting the best of me, but coming from the b9 S4 world, where the engine made every noise possible, I just want to make sure it's just me being paranoid.

Hmm, I can't really hear it to give an opinion, but I'll be following this thread because I also have a high-pitched sound while idling, and i'm interested in the responses. No one else can hear it but me. Phone mic couldn't pick it up very well.

Happens in park, neutral & drive & only after the car is up to operating temp. Cycles on for ~50 sec and off for ~5 sec. Sounds like it's coming from somewhere between the throttle body & brake reservoir on the driver's side.

Every time I Passover between the top of the engine and intake pipe. Maybe it's just the harmonic noise of the engine bouncing around.

Sorry, can't hear it at all. Your video sounds exactly like our 2019 RS 3 now at 47,997 miles.
