Just recently hit 100,000 miles. 6-speed manual, Nogaro blue with blue interior. 1/68 produced with this combination in 2005. This is a 100% original car with no modifications and it's been older adult owned since new. No accidents and I have a clean Carfax report to prove it. Lots of recent maintenance.
I do not know if the timing service has been done. I would assume it hasn't been done. The long-time owner is senile and couldn't remember if he had them done or not, but recalls spending a "couple thousand" on something at some point between 2012-2014. I don't know what that means, but I'd recommend having them done at some point. On cold starts, there is a rattle for approximately one second. Nothing out of the ordinary for these. Good clutch, shifts smoothly. Everything works except the power fold mirrors.
I have a service binder from the 2nd owner onwards. The car has always been maintained at high-end independent shops. All of the original keys are present, including the plastic one.
It was a city car, so it has some minor dents/scratches, the headliner sags, but there isn't any exterior body rust.
There is some surface rust at the jack points, and on the rear subframe. Appears to be surface rust, just could use treatment. Remember, this is an old car with a lot of mileage. I will send pictures to those who are interested.
All original paint except the rear bumper. The car will need front discs and pads soon, but passes inspection just fine. Continental DWS06 tires with good tread, but one has slight sidewall damage (no air loss).
I bought the car off my friend's mother around April of this year. I haven't really had the chance to enjoy the car much, but I want a non-SUV Porsche so I'm passing this one along.
Price is $10,000. This is probably one of the cleanest original cars left from this run. That price leaves room for the chains to be done, and a little preventative maintenance here and there. The price reflects the options this car has, and the fact that it's completely stock, hasn't been abused and is well maintained.
If you can find a comparable car for cheaper, let me know. Otherwise, anecdotal opinions on price are not needed. .
Trade only for a 944, 924, 928, Boxster, or a 996 911 plus cash. Nothing else.
Remember, the car isn’t worth what the B6 Facebook group says it’s worth. It’s what the buyer thinks it’s worth.
