Im repairing connectors on my harness. I have Amazon depin tools and of course I broke the smaller one. Anyone know of a better depin tool set?
I have a larger connector (1J0-973-752) I depined to repair the wire jacket. Connector is good. Copper is good. No/few broken strands. Pins are good. I had to go wayyy back to get to good jacket but I was just going to repair the jacket and put it back together. I forgot to take a photo. Anyone know which pin is ground and which is power? Connector marked 1 and 2. Is 1 power and 2 ground?
My knock sensor wires are crispy and taping up jacket that small is not gunna fly. Im going to have to replace the wire and crimp on new pins. Anyone know the wire gauge?
My coolant temp sensor is totally shot and mostly missing. Know the part number?
Both sides of my AC compressor connector are missing. Last guy just spliced them together. I would prefer to put at least A connector back even if not the right connector. Is the female/compressor side of that connector even available?

Oh I do like wiring!
1. First photo I am guessing it the power connector to your SAI pump. Pretty common for the insulation to flake off like that. I ended up splicing two new wires from the ECU box to the connector (I was able to cut an reuse me connector). Brown is ground red is positive. Looks like #2 is positive and #1 is ground.
The easiest thing is to get a tune are remove your SAI pump.
A local U-pull scrap yard is your best bet to get replacement connectors. Also check out Wolfautoparts.com for used stuff.
2. Not sure on the gauge but I do agree that you don't want to just tape them up.
3. The Temp sensor (green one) looks fine, that connector in your hand looks like it was hit with a hammer. Not sure where to get a replacement but here are the numbers for the sensor. OEM / Interchange Numbers: 059919501A, 078919501A, 078919501C
4. My old AC compressors connector broke in the same fashion. I wasn't able to find a replacement connector but you might be able to find the pressure switch its attached to. Did you AC work prior to pulling the engine? If not I would consider just replacing the unit (yes I know its expensive) but it's a pain in the ass to replace with the engine in the car.
Environmental butt splices are the way to go. it actually looks like who ever was in here before you had the foresight to use good material. Thought the 2" section of wire on the AC compressor between two splices is not cool.
