    Hi everyone,

I tried to start my car this morning and it didn't work. Only after 5-6 attempts car has started, and then I drove to a bank, stopped there for 30 minutes and started the car again with no issues.
I have checked the battery - no issues. The same issue happened to me a few times during the last winter and it disappeared after.

Ran VCDS and got the next fault:

Error points to a starter issue. You’re DSG, so it’s not a clutch sensor problem. It’s most likely an intermittent starter problem. Could be it failing. You can get in there and see if the electrical connections are good, but it’s not an error for that, it’s the starter not turning, which indicates a physical problem with it based on the code.

thanks for the input but I have big doubts about mechanical problem, for me it seems more electrical issue.

Any VCDS diagnostic can be run to get some extra info?

Could be this… you’re going to have to “look” and see what’s up. If your harness and connections look good, then it’s the starter.
