    Hello folks,

I have a set of wheels 10.5 with 285/20/30. I brought them to test fit and came out that they barely fit in my front sides. The technician told me they fit while the car was on the ground but have potential of hitting the control arms.

Any idea of wether to put my wheel on or not?

    Thank you!

    Depends on a few factors.
    * What are the wheel offsets?
    * What are the specifics of the tires? Some are more "square" when mounted than others.
    * Is the car lowered or are you planing on lowering it?

If you could post the answers to these questions then you could get a more concrete answer.

For reference: I have a set of 20x10.5 wheels with an offset of ET25. The concavity of the wheels are different between the fronts and rears in order to easily clear the front calipers. I'm running 285/30/20 Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4s. My car has the Comp package which sits slightly lower than a standard RS5 and the only rubbing I had was with 2 fender liner clips at the top of the front wheel wells. I removed those clips and have not rubbed since.

Adding to what Kostic said I think the offset will be the deciding factor. I think they’d work if the offset wasn’t too extreme. I’m running 20x10’s with an offset of 20 and Michelins. I think the fitment is perfect. Nearly flush and no rubbing. Thanks Mops.

Yep, provide the offset and we can assist. If they clear the arms on the ground they'll not make contact.

Have you tried putting a rear wheel on the front? I'm curious if the concavity would actually make contact with the caliper or not.

I haven’t tried it, but just by eyeballing it they look like they might fit. It would be tight though and I would be worried about hitting the caliper while taking it off/on.

Just for clarification, I relied on Vossen 100% for the fitment. When I asked what my RS5 could run they said that Super Deep would (might?) hit the CCB calipers. Maybe they were playing it safe to avoid issues, I don’t know.

If I can find something to protect my calipers I might try putting one on the front to see as I’m also curious about it.

If you don't plan to lower, you could go ET25 and it would look fine, since lowering always exaggerates "tuck".

These look like "Super Deep" front and back, but I am not 100% sure on that. It's also a different Vossen wheel. The fitment may be different on Ceramics as well.

    Looks cool guys!

I have the 20x10.5 with ET30. Called vossen, and the guy told me that I will just prob need the 5/10 spacers to fit the wheels. So I think on a B9 RS5, the maximum sizes are 10.5 ET20/25.
