    Advice needed for RS-style grill on a 2018 A6 C7 Competition

Hey all. I recently bought a 2018 A6 C7 Competition, with slight lower front damage. The car has a front camera under the Audi logo, no night vision.

I really want to install an RS style honeycomb grill, but keep the OEM Competition (S-line) bumper.

    1. Does the ОЕМ RS6 grill fit the 2018 A6 C7 Competition bumper (which is a S-line bumper)?
    2. If not, how do you suggest I get the RS look?
    3. Do you use an aftermarket kit, and if so can you recommend one that is of a higher quality?
    4. Would the front camera fit the RS-style honeycomb grill, or do I need to change housing/cameras? - Link to camera

I am situated in the Balkans, Europe, but I can probably order parts from most places.

You can find those RS6 grills on AliExpress. You can buy the grill with the cutout for the ACC camera.

What about the quality of those grills? Aren't they cheap brittle plastic? Hence why I was asking about the OEM RS one.

I haven’t ever heard of damage to the cheap alirxpress RS bumpers so I wouldn’t worry about it. Yeah they’re a little flimsy but other than that unless some huge debris is kicked up you should be fine. Anything that would damage a normal grille would also damage the RS one and vice versa

Unless you want to spend almost 3x the cost for an OEM one most of us get grilles from aliexpress or eBay.

I suggest you to buy non OEM from China or somewhere in Europe. I have done OEM RS6 grill and headlamp (carbon) swap to my S6 but it was really pain. Since you dont have night vision, you do not need that many parts but you will need to modify the grill from back side to fit all the screws from bumper to hold it properly and remove some of the original hangers otherwise you will be no able to fit the grill properly. Also if you have front parking sensors you would need to buy holders from RS6 and modify them.

Waiting on an offer for an OEM competition front (anything that's missing or broken on mine).

We are probably going to try and assemble it stock. I can tinker with Chinese grills and splitters once I get bored with it.
