    rs7 production stopped?

    Hello, does anyone have an order in for a new rs7 on this site? I have been told that rs7 production has been shut down for unknown reasons. My 2016 blew the engine, and my third-party warranty is paying for a new engine. The one we had shipped is seized and junk. We can't get a replacement from Audi, at least, this is what I have been told.

    I believe the RS6/RS7 are built on the same line as the “normal” C8 vehicles. Theses production lines have been operated at a lower capacity, or briefly halted entirely over the past few years due to supply constraints, so it it has happened again, that does not surprise me.

    Having said that, I have not heard anything in particular about eh RS7.

    I do not have RS7 production numbers, but to give you an idea of production status, here are roughly the RS6 deliveries in the US by model year:

    2021 = 1,500 vehicles
    2022 = 1,000 vehicles
    2023 = 500 vehicles

    As you can see, production has been slowing over the years, and this is not because of a lack of demand. Whether it be labor or supply shortages, they just cannot build these cars fast enough.
