I’m assuming you’re looking at the regular etron gt and not the RS etron or you’d be looking at the RS7 instead of the S7
1. S7 looks sleeker. And with the looks it’s also practical. Having the hatchback is amazing. Hard to switch to a regular sedan after being spoiled by it. I get compliments everytime I fill up
2. GT is faster by less than a half a second. BUT. Range is only 230miles for that GT. So if you’re going to be flooring it. Just know that it’ll drop fast. Tech will be better on the GT. S7 you get a exhaust that pops and bangs (only in dynamic mode). My mpgs are around 17-19. I floor it / redline it a lot. So about 250miles with my driving. If you’re calm. You’ll see 350 easily.
3. GT is too new to tell. I have had issue with my Tesla and the dealer is the only one that can touch it… S7 shares its engine with a few VW models (RS5, Macan, S6) so if there’s problems you won’t be alone. Maintenance is typical Audi. 10k services, get Audi care. Problem solved. I have 20k miles right now. No issues. My previous A7 only had issues when around 80k miles but it was running stage 2 tune at 500hp. So I’m the reason it had problems.
4. Electric cars don’t deprecate as hard as the gasoline ones is what I’m seeing. But that could be because gas prices. You could save 10-20k if you spring for a used one with under 10k miles. With current market conditions. Your resale will be better than precovid era.
I wanted to add modifiability. I have tuned my car (JB4). Added cold air intake. Chopped the resonators off and will be getting a RS7 grill to swap in. Can’t really do those things on electric.
