    UPDATE:

After re-gapping all my sparkplugs (0.0032" or 0.8mm) and checking my fuel injectors, which were in good shape (though I'll replace them in the next 3k miles), the car is BACK. The fuel efficiency is near perfect, just like how it used to be. I have driven around 20+ Audis in my lifetime and my car performed way under average and I knew something was off.
I managed to get 720km (450 miles) out of a full tank, EVEN with spirited driving here and there. The dash readout (in this case) were quite correct. The estimated range INCREASED the more I was driving my car (city and hwy). Right now I have done 420km and I still have 300km left (according to the dash, which is now accurate... hopefully it lasts) and I drove it spiritedly, a lot today. I haven't relied only on the dash, but I even went pen and paper to calculate my range and mpg. They seem to match with each other, which is good.

I was almost 100% certain that the car was underperforming fuel-wise and now the car feels just right. Thank you all for the great help, much appreciated.

Ok, now tune it. You already admitted to driving spiritedly. A software tune is the biggest bang for the buck on this car, beating any car I have ever owned. Some have a 30 day money back guarantee...

Honestly, I might tune it this summer or maybe I trade this one in for the new A6 3.0T (I like the supercharger more tho) but I'll see. I'm just a tech person and I like their new technology (not a fan of three screens) If I tune it, is Integrated Engineering the best for it? I've heard plenty of good things about them.

I bought my car at 45k miles and now it has around 56k miles and I changed the spark plugs 1-2k miles ago and the car performs quite better. I'd recommend you replace them and make sure to gap them at 0.026in to avoid any misfires or inefficiencies. When you replace them, let us know if the mpg increases.

You can ignore the estimated range on the cluster- it's most often wrong as it does its best to predict (not actually reflect what is left). 15-20mpg city and very high 20s into low 30s is reasonable to see at freeway cruising. Our cars have a ~19/20gal fuel tank, so reset the trip odometer when you fill up and do the math backwards based on your fill-up to see your average mpg. Stop using all the fuel additive crap, it's totally unnecessary on a CREC motor and is reducing your mileage as it burns quicker than gasoline.

You mentioned you had roughly 320mi range and with the 19gal tank that is an average of 17mpg. If over 50% of your time is spent under 50mph, this is 100% accurate.

All the other stuff mentioned could be the issue, but there is a 99% chance that it is not so I wouldn't waste your time chasing down rabbit holes of alignment/spark plug gap/etc

I believe that you’re misunderstanding my concern. I could care less about the dash readings honestly, all I was concerned about was the reduced REAL range on a full tank.

When I first got my car, the fuel held up pretty long and then it wasn’t the same after a while. I changed the spark plugs and then re-gapped them to spec. Changing/Adjusting spark plugs is nowhere near a “rabbit hole”. It’s a simple plug and play. However, to check for injectors, that’s a different matter.

I never claimed that what worked for me would work for everybody, however, giving it a try wouldn’t hurt. Getting an average of 15mpg on highways and barely making it to 400km is NOT okay.

I also inflated my tire to psi spec in the manual and that COULD HAVE (not claiming absolute certainty) helped. Stay safe all and thank you for the help!

I don’t know if IE has a money back guarantee, but APR does. IE tends to lean towards single pulley solutions and has flashing at home. A software tune, plus a trans tune will make the car so different, you’ll keep it while discovering the car all over again.

Yeah I was considering APR a few months ago but IE doesn't seem that bad too honestly. Their reviews are very positive and I might get both ZF8 TCU and ECU tune of course. However, it is not that cheap. For now, maybe I'll stick to stage 1 ecu+tcu (pulleys much later). And btw, what's the fuel efficiency after stage 1?

I'm attaching a picture of my dash earlier today. I use km's and not miles. I did 414km (~260mi) and remaining 290km (~180mi), around 440 miles which sounds just about right

I can tell by this photo you are missing a tune...
