WTB: Audi C5 A6 (2004) RNS-E (US Version) with all Hardware and Wiring

Wanted to see if anyone was parting out with their US version RNS-E for those that have upgraded from the Symphony II. Before I go and source everything out, maybe I could take this off someone's hands who are looking/thinking about selling their setup or parting out. I'm looking for all hardware and wiring that I would need for a plug and play install. Thanks.

That's what you need, the Gen2. I had the old one and upgraded years ago. Better screen, takes bigger SD cards. faster processor. And while you're doing the install you can removed the Onstart module, tap into the GPS antenna directly and use the Onstar microphone in the Sunroof control panel for your Bluetooth. I may have all of the install instructions if you need them.

Definitely would go for newer version of RNS-e. For best compatibility flash with https://rnse.pcbbc.co.uk/ firmware and transfer maps to fast good quality SD card.

Just a kudos to ChicagosPhantom who fixed and cleaned up an older RNSe unit I sent to him a little while back. Great work, so this unit here would probably be the way to go

was he able to do anything about peeling soft touch paint on the face panel? I got A3 second gen and put gen1 face on it, everything works, but peeling paint does not look too good.

I knew he was famous/infamous for his C5 Headlight repair and upgrades. This is the first I had seen that he does RNS-E's too. Man of many talents.
