i've heard that our ball joints when doing front inner/outer control arm ball joints needs to be a certain size as some are too small for our platform? anyone know what size is needed by chance so i can order it in?

like this but not sure what ones work as there are different sizes/styles https://www.amazon.com/GEARWRENCH-39.../dp/B003YVWHOE

If you order the arm and ball joint for 2013 and up that's the better design I believe that's how I looked them up on rock auto.Screenshot_20230520-194133_Chrome.jpg

Do yourself a favor if you get that one and use a large drill bit and drill a concave recess in the part that engages on the bolt head so that it won’t slip off the bolt. That tool works OK on non-stubborn ones, but if you have one that is just really stuck, the tool will slip off the head of the bolt without dislodging it and fly off. Also, the fork part on those can also sometimes not be wide enough, so some minor grinding may be needed to open it up some.

thanks, yeah i don't have a grinder so i'm looking to just order the tool that fits but good callout about dimpling the contact point for the bolt.
