Auto Stop Start question

Ok I didn't figure it out...so here it is again, when pulling in to park, and the auto-start-stop kicks in, the car is in "ready" mode, I put the car in park, and leave the car, is the car "off"?

No.. I usually have to click the Start/Stop button once more, for the car to be completely OFF. I hate that False sense of being turned "OFF." But, if that's what you want? then it's doing it's thing.

Thanks, yeah I wasn't sure, I do know when it is in "limbo" mode if you get out and lock the car it shuts down (well it did it the one time I tried)

If you turn off the car and open the door, you notice all the electronics turn off, instrument cluster, radio, etc. That's off.
If the car auto-stops and you open the door, what happens? Does the stuff turn off, or does it stay on? Do you get it beeping at you like when you leave the headlights on, etc.

This is was just noticed today, the radio turned off, the car was in park, but the dash still had data on it, also the car said "the DRL's will stay on for 30 mins then turn off" I was like huh?.. So I have since disabled the DRL's staying on after I leave the car...I will keep an eye on it, I am sure there is some Audi things going on.

DRLs for 30 minutes? Haha. Sometimes I wonder if designers actually ever use their own products.
