specific question about the B8.5 RS5 floor mat situation. looking for something else

I recently purchased a used 2013 RS5 from a dealership in the Denver area. It came with the WeatherTech laser measured hard plastic-y floor mats and from what i understand, I think those might be considered the OEM floor mats for the B8.5 RS5. When you go to parts.audiusa.com and look up the car, there is no floor mats for sale in the accessories section when it would usually be there for most models, and I had trouble finding it in the parts section when searching for them, which makes sense if Audi doesn't manufacture them.

I'd like to get carpet floor mats ideally with an embroidered aesthetically identical to OEM logo, whether "RS" or "RS5". I understand I maybe can find some carpet mats with faux RS logos that are seemingly like the real RS logo, but usually not shaded the same colors, rather just outlined and the font might be slightly different, and I'd be open to the that. But the ideal thing is a real actual RS or RS5 logo from a place that is just willing to do that. I used to have a B8 S5 and there was a vendor on ebay a few years ago (out of Bosnia) that would embroider in the S5 exact logo onto carpet floor mats and they were phenomenal. He no longer has any listings up. I also used to find on ebay people that would do like an iron on logo via a patch for carpet mats and those were the exact S5 logo, but it wasnt embroidered.

So far I've found that i can get plain carpet mats from a variety of places, such as ECS claiming they have genuine audi carpet mats for a B8.5 RS5 to finding ones on ebay as well as random places like lloydsmatstore.com or high-end-motorsports.com or various other carpet vendors where i can customize the edge color and the stitching colors. But none of those situations involve any logos, although i can customize embriodery but I don't want to embroider my name or something stupid like that. Maybe something like "4.2L V8 FSI", that just came across my mind. That might work, but still the focus is logos.

lloydsmatstore.com has the rights to GM cadillac logos so you can order mats from there for cadis with logos and theyre really nice. ive seen other independent floor mats websites do the same for other car brands.

I've found ebay vendors that do faux logos where it looks like the RS logo but not precisely the same but only for the B9 RS5 so far, nothing for the B8.5 RS5. And one of them had the faux leather flimsy ones with colored diamond stitch design that you see all over ebay coming from China and those are ugly I feel.

Does anyone have any information on vendors that might have something up the alley I am looking for, online or in person, like a shop i can mail it to in person that would embroider in the logo? Feel free to message if you'd rather comment like if its your buddy that does it but its low key cause he doesnt want to get a cease and desist letter and he makes good money doing it. i feel like thats the ideal situation. or if someone knows of an online vendor, most likely from a foreign country, doing it that im not aware of yet.

i apologize if i offended anyone by seeking a floor mat that might violate US trademark law. if audi made them like many other models in the US have, then i wouldnt be asking. remember, they dont even sell plain carpet mats directly for the B8.5 RS5. thats kind of crazy to me. i dont understand that. ive had ppl comment, "well the weathertech mats are better anyway". they are highly functional, but i dont want to see a weathertech logo everytime i get in my "luxury" car that i just paid a lot for when i look down. it aesthetically looks like something my 18 year old self would find at auto zone or walmart and call it a mod. lol. theyre ugly imho. id love a set of regular rubber mats like i can get for a B8 S5 from audi via the accessories section of the parts, with or without logos, but i cant even find that either. im focusing on the carpet mats but the lack of normal style rubber mats from audi amazes me too.

in other news, this is my first post, and I'm happy to be here and read all the good content so i can learn what i can about my new car cause im stoked. this car is insane. the floor mats are trash, but the car is insane.

I’m also interested in finding a nice set of logo mats. I came from an E9X M3 where I bought a nice set of M3 logo mats. Gives the interior a nice touch.

I’m surprised there isn’t something similar for the RS5. Or at least I haven’t been able to find a set.

My car currently has the A5 mats: 8K1863691GQA5.

i came across a tidbit of info that i thought i'd share with any interested parties. if you have the weathertech mats, there are companies that make logo'ed replacements for the gel weathertech logo piece. they are on ebay and etsy, but i found direct websites as well, drewsdecals dot com being one. going to order the "RS" ones, which look like a visually correct/exact logo, and thats a pretty good solution for me. still on the lookout for embroidered logo on a carpet mat, but ill take what i can get.

hope that helps someone having the same qualms as me...

If you want high quality carpet mats with custom logos, go through AutoStyle. https://www.autostyle.co.uk/catalog2...armats-gallery

Their site is a little finicky. I drew out what I wanted on a piece of paper and they made it to match. I would email/call them.

Appreciate the link. I found that site during searches and they definitely have some of the best customizations with metal heel pads and being able to place the motif in 4 diff positions. Which motif did you go with? IÂ’m wondering how much they stand by their warning in the create your own motif page where they say they wonÂ’t do trademarked logos. My guess is if the UK they stand by that hard. Usually got to get custom mats from developing countries to get trademarks on them.

I’m thinking of getting “4.2L V8 FSI”, that might be kinda cool. I just want an RS logo though.

On my B5 S4, they did the S4 logo for me. I think you may have to email them privately.

Good call my man. They are doing the RS logo for me. I’m stoked. Good find and good recommendation. Thank you.

Update: the mats from autostyle arrived and they are amazing. I got the metal heel plate too and that thing is dope. But the logo is chefs kiss. I couldn’t have asked for a batter set. These are ten times nicer than the ones I got from lloydsmatstore.com. I’m legitimately impressed. Appreciate the recommendation @mauromj.

Ha, nice! I stumbled on this thread while googling a solution. My 2014 rs5 came with oem rubber mats with s5 badging. Don’t care for the rubber ones and just wanted some plush carpet ones and expected a discreet RS or RS5 logo on the originals — just like the M3 models previous poster mentioned.

Can you share pics of the ones you ordered?
