    Hey all,

I'm considering installing a flex fuel kit to run e85 in lieu of wmi. All the reading I'm doing are saying mixed things about needing to upgrade my hpfp. Is this a must or is it all depending on how my car is tuned and what power I am trying to make? I'm hoping to get a more concrete answer.

Im not even sure of where to start for the 2.0T

maybe some of the VW forums that use the 2.0 with the K04 turbo upgrades?

many of us are either the 3.0T or the 4.0TT

Thanks for the response. I am aware that majority are 3.0 and 4.0 but has anyone added flex fuel kits to their cars? are the 3.0 and 4.0 flex fuel from factory? if not, has anyone added a flex fuel kit to their car and if so, did yall need to upgrade the fuel pump?

I'm not aware of any Audi's that are flex fuel from the factory. The stock HPFP is fine for the 4.0T if you're not running upgraded turbos. I used it for a couple of years with no issues. No idea on the 2.0T, but you're probably better safe than sorry upgrading if you're lacking much info on whether it's required

I don't plan on upgrading a turbo any time soon but I really appreciate the info. I've been debating on upgrading to a 3.0 or 4.0 but I like working with the underdog lol.
