This simple piece allows me to jack up the rear of a mk2 with one jack so that I can place jack stands on both sides. The 2x2 is 7 inches long and 3.5 inches apart. It fits across the exhaust and on the center cross member. Use the denser 2x2 wood instead of pine. Drill pilot holes so the screw won't crack the 2x2 or the 2x4.
