Spoiler 2018 Q7

I recently purchased a 2018 Q7 - Prestige Trim and am looking to add some personal touches and to increase performance. I am coming from a Volkswagen Atlas and I cant believe the difference! I already love this car... previously to the Atlas, I had 2 Dodge Challengers, the 2nd of which was a Scat-Pack. So, I definitely value performance.

The first and best mod, which I have done for the cars I had previously, is to get the windows tinted. Tomorrow I am dropping it off for the front windows. I have an appointment for Monday to get the Stage 2 APR Tune done. I ordered an upgrade to the air-intake ( https://roc-euro.com/products/roceur...-0t-gen-2-2017 ) which I am hoping to have installed ASAP. In addition, I am scheduled to drop it off to get the rims powder coated gloss black. I really like black accents to contrast the grey of the rest of the car. Has anyone found a spoiler for a 2018 Q7 - Prestige that they like? I found 2 that I like:

That second spoiler only fits the S-line/SQ7 factory spoiler, so it won't fit your factory Q7 spoiler.

That Roc Euro intake looks like it only takes about 10 minutes to install, I wouldn't pay somebody for that.

I watched the install video. The only apprehension I had was the drill bit piece that is offset on an angle to get to the one bolt...

I missed that the 2nd spoiler is for S-line. Thank you.

The intake is really simple to put on. If you don't need to use a angle bit, just remove the top airbox (which holds the filter) not even screwed down. Just pops out of 4 rubber "knobs" and the subsequent rubber hoses connected to it. Once its off, the o-ring screw is staring at your face. Cant miss it. All of that took me 10-15 minutes/

You could save yourself $130 and use a silicone hose and get the same result. I used a left over RKX intake from my A6 and cut it up to replace the sound silencer piece. Same result. You will hear the whine slightly but not as much as upper pulley tune and intake together. Don't look for a bump in performance though for the intake mod itself.

If you want to save yourself some bank. maxton design has great products for us as well. About to pull the trigger on the rear spoiler myself. Had Maxton on my last 2 cars (SQ5 & A6). Has stayed on the car all the way up to 160 no issue. I doubt you are gonna get the Q7 to that speed lol

Thanks. I am going to install it myself when it arrives. I wasn’t really thinking it would impact performance much, but, with the APR stage 2 dual pulley upgrade I had done yesterday, I’m hoping the inlet just adds to the supercharger whine. The dual pulleys has made a pretty big difference in sound. I really want to hear the exhaust, but, that’s in the works. The shop that did the tune and pulleys is going to call me back with what they can do for an exhaust system to eliminate the suitcase muffler or the 2 resonators so the exhaust is so damn quiet.

I looked at the maxton spoiler. It has a nice design to it and the price is super enticing. However, I ended up ordering the Renegade Design because it stands out from the other spoiler options. Sounds like it will be a few weeks before I get it. I will post pics once I do.
