Same here, as the JB4 gauges and logging are pretty good. The bad thing is the boost readings are off if you run the 4bar maps.
Just hooked mine up last night and seems pretty cool so far.
Not sure if it does logging tho?

They mentioned in the instagram video about the mobile app this weekend that data logging was coming soon to the app.

A few days back, 034 made a comment on FB that theirs was in development. Nowhere did they include the word "soon," which we all know they love to use when talking about products hitting the market. Unless maybe you have insider information......

I'd assume it would be a while I think they prioritized extra launch control and tune refinement over app dev

I think they should allow the app to turn horizontally for the next update. It's a cleaner look for those with AC vent phone mounts. Overall, the only other thing is the Imperial units getting switched off sometimes. The app works great!

As I'm waiting on my powerlink cable to be able to play with the app and looking at the pics posted; was wondering how difficult is it to potentially get the app approved to put on Apple App Store and Google Play? If we were able to project it onto the MMI through CarPlay, would be very convenient.

I wonder if you could do this with an Rsnav.

Google is pretty strict about things like this, but they recently started letting weather radar apps into AA, so maybe there's a chance.

It's highly likely that you would indeed be able to use it with RSNav.

It won't be possible to get it through CarPlay without a jailbreak. CarPlay is very strict in which apps it allows through and requires manual approval. I don't believe Powerlink falls under any of the categories allowed.

You can run any Android app on RSNAV (outside Android auto) as long as the app is compatible with the Android version installed on the RSNAV (I think it's like Android 7 or 8)

Am I right in assuming that the app doesn't register actual value on boost when it is in a vacuum? I see your AV and SP are the same as mine.

That's a question for IE. I know my SP and AV are pretty close when I give it the beans. No idea what's going on at idle. I'm guessing it just doesn't register a value for negative boost.

Seems like they might use a calculation of charge pressure subtrated by atmospheric pressure for AV. Charge pressure in OBDeleven and VCDS only reads atmospheric pressure at idle. Boost SP is probably the pressure in the manifold subracted by atmospheric pressure since it is in a vacuum at idle. .

I think there's a button on it to reset or turn the BT on or off maybe you turned it off.

Mine always connects easy every once in a while need to search twice

Yes, I did that and I deleted and re-downloaded the app. It looks like I’m not the only one experiencing this issue. The thread for the tune update shows other folks showing the spinning connecting page

I had the same problem. The app pushed a fw update that said it completed successfully but looks like it didn't. I got the stuck at connecting issue until I plugged the dongle into my laptop and it updated the fw again. Now back to normal.

If it detects that the fw isn't the most recent then it will. For me, the mobile app updated my dongle fw Friday and continued to work until I shut the car down. Next day the dongle wouldn't connect at all. Finally plugged the dongle into the laptop and it flashed the fw update as soon as I opened the software.

Got a response back from IE support saying that there is an issue with mobile app firmware updates, but it's not widespread enough for them to disable the feature. I attached that conversation.Screenshot_20230807-105342.jpg

Yes, but it's not very good at it. I logged with it and IE requested I do it again with a laptop because it barely captured anything.

I plugged in my laptop and updated it. Seems to have solved the issue after the dongle's firmware has been updated.
