Borla S Type w/ Vibrant Resonator

Anyone running a Borla S-type cat back with a Vibrant Resonator on a 2.0T A3 Quattro? Looking to upgrade my exhaust and think the Borla sounds the best to me. I just don’t want any cabin drone. I did a muffler delete originally and aside from sounding like trash, the drone was horrible. Like a couldn’t take calls or hold a conversation.

Everything on the car is stock. If anyone is running this setup, where did you put the Vibrant? I’ve read it’s hard to find a spot, especially with the Quattros.

depending on the length you choose, I would assume you would just put it in the same sport where the suit case is right now. If there is enough room for that then I am sure there is enough room for a Vibrant.

So for stock on my 1.8t Jetta, considering our exhaust systems are similar, the rear is a muffler/resonator and the mid is a mid muffler.

To me it seems like the best system for performance/sound would be to put vibrant resonator at the rear and borla s type at the mid.

Looking into the popular cbe systems for my car, the awe touring has muffler at mid and resonator at rear and the track version just deletes resonator in the rear. For the borla cbe system, there’s a s-type muffler at the mid and a delete in the rear.

Let me know what you end up going with.
