I have used it. It is definitely powerful. I had my rear o2 sensors removed in preparation for it. Be advised. You still need them. Without the rear sensors it will run so rich that you will receive ridiculous misfires and destroy your front o2 sensors and MPGs in the process. The remote tuner was very nice to work, but at the end of the day, I returned mine. I am stock now and not sure what I'll end up doing in the future. Ask any questions you may have.

SRM do a bundle. There is another company developing a TCU tune that uses the DS1 to flash it. For us (DS), we stick to the ECU since we can make the best possible product for ECUs that way as we are deeply specialized in ECUs, and these particular ECUs.

I run JHM's ECU+TCU 91 octane tune. Car runs better than on any other tune and when I push it, I've beaten all the other 91 octane files.

I've run APR, EPL, and my buddy has DS1's 91 octane OTS tune.

• I'm almost a full second faster in the quarter mile over DS1's equivalent file.
• I'm a few tenths faster than I was on APR.
• EPL is a joke so not even worth talking about.
• The best 0-60 I've achieved on 91 octane was with the JHM ECU+TCU tune.

Yes. It comes with the TCU tune. The difference is night and day. Shifts are much crisper and aggressive. I didn't measure it, but you can feel and literally hear the difference.

Just wanted to say props to JHM for a great bit of kit. I got my S6 in january and 3 weeks in decided to do the oil filter relocation kit and pvc. Used JHM's, which turned out to be pretty nice. During the install, the turbos were noticeably going, so i decided to go full speed ahead and upgrade while everything was apart.

I ended up adding the RS7R turbo upgrades, ECU / TCU stage 3 tune, and a heat exchanger. I also picked up a downpipe, but I think there was some miscommunication and don't think i'll be able to use it. Overall, the tune is terrific. It's a noticeable step up in performance. My goodness does the exhaust sound terrific now in S mode. I don't have a point of comparison with other audi tunes, but my weekend car is a ~870 bhp R33 GTR. While completely different uses and driving styles, i've found myself really enjoying the S6 to the point that i've been jumping in it instead of the GTR for quick trips.

IMO It's very smooth/OEM like drivability. We do our best to keep the Audi and Audi

Comfort transmission mode is still silky smooth and casual. Sport transmission + dynamic ECU is where you go for fun.

My wife and I both agree that my S7 drives smoother than her Mercedes AMG GLB.

Every day drivability is great. The only thing i've noticed, and it's quite small, is that it hangs onto 2nd gear when slowing down for quite some time. So when you're coming to a stop or pulling into a spot, it'll drop at the last sec into 1st causing a small lurch. Not a big deal at all, but honestly the only that's stood out.

Everything feels crisper than OEM. I leave it auto mode most of the time. It's smooth, as you'd expect. S mode is a very noticeable wake up. I haven't tried launching from a light against any worthwhile cars for comparison, but definitely had my fair share of stop light pulls. I do find myself thinking ahead on my drive for when i may be able to switch into S mode and open it up.

I will say it's incredibly easy to speed. For instance, i tend to wake it up getting onto the highway in S mode. By the time i've merged, i'm easily 100-110 (in a 75 mph). I then tend to drop out of S mode to cruise on the highway b/c it's way too easy to go so far over the limit without noticing.

There was actually a class action against Audi because of the shifting characteristics you described. Greg Coleman Law was heading that back in 2018.

Yes, 91,93, and Ethanol. All stages, and tune files are included free. Swapping tunes is as simple as flashing the file you want with our Power-Connect flashing server.

I don't believe I have a video on The Power-Connect server. The process is actually quite simple and straightforward. All you have to do is log in, select the module that you want to flash (engine, transmission, or haldex), select identify module, select the File/Stage software (auto populates based on the identified module), choose the octane, and then hit flash!

I do remember an A8 4.0T customer saying he was making a video for his youtube channel, I can follow up to see if he ever made it.

Perhaps a dumb question....but if one tune supposedly outperforms another tune, is it fair to say that the primary reason is that the hotter tune requests higher boost from the turbos? I'm sure there are other secondary factors at play, but is boost the primary driver for power gains?

We do not provide Dyno data. We prefer the 1/4 mile metric as it shows real world performance.

More air is a diminishing return because it comes at a severe cost (iat). We change hundreds of parameters in our software to yield our results. We also retain all factory safety parameters as well as implement our own. I am sure most tuners run the most boost efficiently possible so I don't think that would be the primary reason.
