Hi guys I've been away for a while, but I've just purchased this 2006 B7 A4 3.2l quattro, I have posted quite a few photos so you can get to know her, purchased from 1 lady owner FSH , not a dent or scratch no leaks anywhere, I love this car, I know most of you like the 2L to modify, but I love the out of the box power the 3.2 gives me, in tiptronic it gets to 62mph (100kph) in 5.7 seconds so it's quick enough for my needs, anyway there she is. Sorry posted twice , as shown in photos are the optioned S Line parts door blades and rubber mats, leather interior, lowered suspension, 17s 3 spoke steering wheel, brushed aluminium trim, I'm not saying it's an S Line I'm saying parts were optioned on this model, also the paint job was optioned too. I would love to see your cars , I know I have a 3.2 but I'm not a 2L hater I'd love to see any modded motors. Also full size spare which is awesome I hate space savers

    2005.5-2008=b7, 2009-2012=b8, 2013 starts b8.5, not sure when b9 started. Like 2017/18?..

    2006 question

Hi guys depending on feedback, I have one question who owns a 2006 FWD A4 2L TFSI with 200bhp and how many people own a 2006 A4 3.2. FSI with 255bhp I'd love to get some positive feedback. Cheers. 2005.5 to 2006 chassis, 8H 2006.5 to 2007 chassis 8E. My last effort flogging this horse depending on feedback stick a fork in me I'm done.

Lol, I just started at the b7... B6 I believe is 2002-2005, b5 went to 01. This is US years, as it varies by country slightly. Also, in US, cabrio varies. 2006 cabrio is still a b6, b7 cabrio goes till 2009.
Your car is a b7, thats why its incorrect.

Thanks for that mate, if you read the link Audi made a 2006.5 it included 2 models , they got rid of the 1.8lt, and replaced it with a 2lTFSI fwd 200bhp entry level and an A4 3.2l FSI V6 quattro with a 6 speed tiptronic which I have so can you help what model A4s were released in 2007 in the states? I would say from research that I either have a 2006.5 it does have the 8E chassis which the B7 has which is where I think the confusion is, I have a B7 that was made towards the end of 2006. If you look at the photos I posted it has the full horse shoe grille which the 2006 earlier A4s didn't have and why a lot of B6 owners want the B6 to B7 front end conversion I finally give in I do have a 2006 B7 3.2l quattro. .

    Yes that is correct.

This site was founded/created in North American and therefore dominated by owners in said region, so we go by those model years.

It's laid out quite specifically in the forum descriptions...

    B6 A4
Discussion Forum relating to the B6 A4 (2002-2005)

    B7 A4
Discussion Forum relating to the B7 A4 (2005-2008)

    B8 A4
Discussion Forum relating to the B8 A4 (2009-2016)

    Etc.

LoL 🤣🤣🤣 throw your hat into the arena, I'm interested in seeing other owners cars, any modifications you have made to your whip, I have a 3.2l so mods are out for me keeping mine bone stock, I know most of you have the 2L which you can modify I have nothing against you , I just love a nice clean Audi A4, I'm working my way up to an RS4 but that's in the future.

When you're wrong you're wrong , and I wasn't very pleasant on the B6 forum, and all everyone was doing was trying to help, I've learnt a valuable lesson, I'm going to make sure I know what I'm talking about in future.
