Dynamic or Sweeping Front Turn Signals

Hi All,

I noticed that my recently acquired 2019 S5 SB Prestige front turn signals blink on/off as a whole, and do not "sweep" from center to the side of the car. I thought the sweep was stock function of this car. Can someone confirm? I could not find a setting in MMI to change this. If the full on/off is the correct function, is there a way to change to sweeping?

I've seen some videos of some crazy light animations and also wondering how this is done.

For B9 cars, the dynamic front turn signals are only available with the full LED matrix headlights which are not available in North America.

^^ this. You were probably seeing a European market model or a B9.5.

Yes, not the crazy animations I've seen with the upgraded taillights, but they do sweep, so that is good! I don't think I'm ready to plunk down $7k for headlights for the sweep functionality, although the matrix functionality is really slick. I might splurge for the sweeping indicators on the mirror caps though. Perhaps full matrix headlights somewhere down the line in the future. Right now is engine tuning, sway bar/strut brace, front splitter and black rings/logos. Not sure why with the black optics package my rings and S5 logos are still chrome.
