Child Safety locks won't turn off

    Hey fellow RS3 owners,

Anyone have an issue with their child safety locks ? I noticed yesterday that the interior door handles weren't working so I ensure the "key turn" setting when the door was opened is in fact turned away from the little person icon.

I've tried a lock/unlock with the key FOB, went through the MMI settings to ensure there was no option there. No luck. Since then on one of the doors I tried a similar looking turn lock behind a small black plug, that didnt work either, in fact it made it now so the passenger rear door handle doesn't work and now I've got 1 non working door :-)

Any ideas or help before this has to go to a dealer would be great.

I would just take the door apart and look for yoruself. Chances are the switch just had the wires for it drop out. Doors are surprisingly simple once you get the skin off. Worth a shot before $$ dealer visit. Just get some trim removal tools and look for a howto.
