    2022 / 2023 / RS 3 8Y Tire size change?

I am looking to install some 200 Tread Wear tires but the only size for the front is 275/30/19 which has a different size diameter, circumference, and revolution than the stock 265/30/19. I would be using the stock wheels and I believe it would fit on the 9" width. Just wondering if choosing this wider size would throw anything off or have any fitment issues like rubbing. I wasn't sure if the front size and the rear size circumference needed to be the same since it is an all wheel drive and my thinking is that the front and rear must be going the same speed/rotation or something would get damaged. Of course that is just me and I believe the stock tire rotations are different already. Just looking for input. I included the specs on the tires.

    Thanks,
    Jon

Not sure about 275/30 on stock wheels. I have 255/35 on 19x9.5 with no issues. My speedo reads a bit low, but it’s been fine with no rubbing. I might lower it later on.

Tirerack recommends staying within 3% of the stock overall diameter.....can maybe stretch that to ~4
Stage 1 more than you RS3

As long as it will go on a 9" wheel it will be completely fine. It's actually a closer match to the rear diameter than the 265.

I would have absolutely 0 concern with going up to a 275/30-19. I would highly doubt rubbing since OE fitment is generally very safe. Not only that, but this front tire size actually more closely matches the stock rear diameter (245/35-19) than it did in stock form. I plan to run 275/35-18s for autocross/track.

Interesting. We run 245/40/18 on our 2019 RS 3 as we run Rte 600 north of Winchester
VA 3 days a week as weather permits. Had to go to this size as the stock 235/35/19 only
lasted 3 days, as they were totally unable to deal with the road surfaces we attempted
to run. Now at 44,188 total miles of which 31,803 miles have been fast country back
road runs. New Michelin All Weather Saeson 4 245/40/18 going on the Audi next week.

The Audi RS 3 is certainly an amazing vehicle, given my 66 years of fast back roads runs
since 1957, in many different make high performance automobiles, in Arizona and CA
over all these years, including some great professionals who took time to help this kid
better understand what he was trying to accomplish, behind the steering wheel.

NOTE - Mileage is updated as the Audi makes country back road runs 3 days a week
    weather permitting.
