FCP Euro and Shop dap

I placed an order through FCP and Shop dap Sunday night. My FCP order arrived yesterday. The shop dap order is still not even shipped as of today Thursday. I’ve never ordered from them before and wondered if this is normal for them. It was a DSG service kit with Audi fluid. It was in stock. I have to give props to FCP. My order was picked and shipped by early Monday. I think I’ll stick with them from now on. Was hoping to get it done this weekend and figured ordering a week in advance was good enough. Have any of you experienced this with Shop dap?

ShopDAP is a much smaller company but solid as can be.

If I were you, I would reach out to ShopDAP to inquire about the order. I have had only good experiences with both companies.

have faith in shopdap, theyre a good shop.

same thing happened when i ordered my trans fluids, i bought half the kit from ecs and half from shopdap and ecs showed up first.

Shap dap is a smaller operation. They make take a bit to get something out.

fcp has been on point woth shipping. ordered some controll arms and a pcv valve at noon yesterday. they are already out for delivery today!

I contacted shopdap and they are out of stock on the oil. Said they are expecting it anytime now. I’m going to call them and cancel if it’s not in today. Nothing against them but I need to get it by next weekend

you sound like you are already on a crunch time... id just cancel and hit up ecs

Well I had an appointment at a shop to do the work and they fit me in following week due to not getting the kit as expected. I don’t want to have to cancel on them again as I know how annoying that is to shops when your taking up a spot and others are waiting.

Shop DAP are awesome but like others have said it’s a smaller operation. For me FCP and ECS have been quicker for some things. I try to support them all but do have to plan time wise accordingly.

I buy ShopDAP when I can to keep their YouTube content coming.

YouTube is how I found out about shopdap. I like their videos as well. Anyway the fluid was still not in so I had to cancel. He was very apologetic and said they were having trouble getting it in. Fcp euro now says ships in two to three days. So I had to go ecs as they had it in stock. Order was shipped out about two hours after I placed it. I won’t cross shopdap off my list in the future though. They answered the phone every time I called and were easy to work with.
