What type of gasket maker sealant do I use here?

So I've got to reinstall this cam tray holder thingy and noticed that when it was originally put together there was a reddish brown color sealant used and a thin line of black silicone/gasket maker stuff too. What is supposed to be used to properly seal it again? Thanks

You want to use anaerobic sealant. You can get the red permatex from most auto parts stores. I’ve used it many times. Works well

Although anaerobic sealant is what you're supposed to use, I have used silicone sealants like Elring Dirko without issue. If you use anything other than anaerobic sealant, it is imperative that you don't leave the excess sealant on the inside of the head. It can eventually fall off and end up plugging the oil pickup.

Best to use anaerobic, so ya can use plenty, and not have to worry bout it. And its made for machined parts. But any high temp sealant will "work"

I used Permatex RTV black and Red (Red high temp) on my BT B5 and never had a problem with it. (don't apply to much, oil ports ect.)
At this time(today, right now lol...I'll look under the car in the AM) the B7 is not leaking so I'll have to see if it works on this car.
