Oil service reset

98 a4 b5 tried couple of times to reset service oil,i hold the odometer trip button,ignition on,clock adjustment pull and it gets ---- also i do the same for service insp but idk what should i do next..I turn off the ignition stays there,turn the engine on it stays pls help

depending on the vin of your car if its an early 98 I'm going to say you need vcds, 96 and 97 you needed vcds to reset those.

Mine friend reseted me service inspection a year ago with delphi diagnostic,but could not remove service oil with it..He has vcds but he says delphi one is better...

I have the Ross-Tech dongle and VCDS software and just reset the service indicator last weekend. 1999 A4 Quattro so I know that method works. In my experience, with many, many Audi's that is the only way.
