Where do you place your Dragy device

Just got a dragy to check my 0-60's an 1/4 times. My question is where do you guys with dragy place the device for your runs.

I place it in my passenger seat. I pull out the lower extension, then lay the device flat in the crease with the top side down so the flashing blue light doesnt hit me at the right time thinking I have a tail.....IYKYK

Several "reviews" of the Dragy have advised against upside-down installs due to the possibility of reflected signals/accuracy errors.

I have noticed that several spots I put it in have more "low satellites" runs than others, so I have always put in "clear sky" spots. Typically setting it behind the display. It rarely moves unless really blowing through the twisties!

I've been toying with the idea of putting a mag plate on the rear of the display but remembering to take it off before turning the car off worries me. Although it would likely just strip it off the chances of damage rise!

If anyone can find a really good permanent stealth option, I'd love to see them!

Although a great spot, the massaging/vented seats don't have that cool little crevice either!

Everyone I have ever showed that cup holder to is totally amazed! Not many realize what they are till they see a bottle slide in!

Only fits certain types of containers when full, but they are great on long trips for the 1L bottles!!

I open the sunroof cover, place Dragy at edge of headliner, close sunroof cover to wedge in between. Works great.

I'll consider it if I start seeing low sat

So far this is my only low sat invalid run

I always put mine on the magnet on the windshield, I dont like it though, some times it flies off with that cord hanging off it. I put it in the headliner some times but my cord isnt that long and my arm keeps hitting the cord while i'm driving. If having it in the cupholder or seat doesn't affect the times I much rather do that and take that stupid magnet off my windshield

Defrost vent. There is a little area that it sort of snaps in to nicely, between the front trim and the vent.

Nothing a strip of electrical tape won't cure!

I like the sunroof... hadn't thought of that!

Second only to Duct Tape in the automotive world!

thanks all, so pretty much anywhere....also, trying to make sure I run thru the steps right... I tried it las night on a side road and it didnt record anything datawise. I saw the speed go up but there was no record of it. So, if im ready to go from a stop, touch reset, then hit the pedal? please enlighten me.

once you connect via the app, its in a record state.

but it needs to send data to the satellite, then get a good signal.you should see the sat image in the right hand corner. It may take a few miinutes, but thats when its putting all the data (Elevation, Temp, DA) and then it is in a live state

if you are doing a 1/8. 1/4 run then you need to be full stop. Then just hammer it out.....if it doesnt record, you didnt hit the speed gates, or the distance required.

the speed gates Im talking about is 0-60mph, 60-130, 100-150, 0-130, 60-0......

then you click on me in the bottom right and look for your data

I need to figure something else out for my phone. I want to have it up, but its in the eyeline....I have a window suction mount right above that from Mous that lets me have it at the ready, but it vibrates too much. Need to find a more reasonable solution.....I should just get the cams from blackvue and be done with it once I get carplay taken care of
