The supercharged badge started with the C6.5 A6, where the 3.0T initiated. That's why it has a 4F parts bin part number: 4F0 853 601
For the C7 A6/A7, the part number rolled to 4F0 853 601 A 2ZZ and the flag was changed to red.
For the B8 products, the supercharged inscription was never used. Only V6T. Per the Audi parts catalog.
If you look at the US 2015 order guide, we see that AoA offered a port installed accessory of the supercharged badge to replace the V6T (I assume this is the red flag one), or an alu-optic package with side sills and supercharged badges (the carbon flag one based on the previously posted link). So AoA just taking parts and making it an option to modify the vehicle that the factory produced.
"8K0 071 685 A" doesn't exist in the parts catalog. But 8K0 071 685 does, it's the primed for painting wide side sills accessory, the bigger component of that AoA alu-optic port accessory package.
