Stage 1 vs Stage 2 Gains

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hello All. So I have been doing some digging to see what type of actual numeric gains have been had between Stage 1 and Stage 2 with the addition of a High Flow Cat/Test Pipe. To be specific I myself am on 034 Stage 1. I see that they have noted gains, but IE shows no actual power gains with the usage of a HFC/TP. Does anyone have any experience or data they can share. Draggy numbers with increases between the two, dyno numbers ETC. Just looking to see if it more than noise addition and has actual performance increases.

034 says there are no gains for their Stage 1 tune with a downpipe.

They do say that a CAI and intercooler with their Stage 1 tune will get you 80% of they way to their the gains of their Stage 2 tune.

To get the remaining 20% you need a downpipe with that Stage 2 tune.

If you're willing & able to go with E85, the stage 2+ E85 file with the HPFP is where you will see a bit more gains - but really FEEL the most gains. I went from Stage 1 E85 to stage 2+ E85 and really did feel the difference across the power band. Luckily the HFC is relatively easy labor-wise, then just add the HPFP and you're set.

This is perfect! Sounds like you can link 3 posts just from this week showing dyno, 1/4 mile or 0-60 improvements comparing the two.

Sarcasm aside there is one brand saying there is a gain (034) and one showing there is none (IE) for a move to stage 2. Only thing I could find was an inferred marketing ploy to sell an house cat by 034, but nothing to back this statement. Looking for numeric findings.
