    Howdy,

    Posting for my brother,

He was test driving a 2020 Q3 (about 15k miles) w/ his fiancé and noted that it was having an issue when stopped.

At idle at a stop(w/ auto start disabled) there is a low frequency resonation/vibration that you can hear but not feel. The moment you let off the brake it goes away.

He didn't have any more details on what idle rpms or whether it goes away in park.

Does anyone have any info or experience something similar?

    Cheers,

    ~Mic

Don’t get a 2020…Ours has been plagued with issues. Sunroof leak(covered by warranty), the rear brakes had a squealing issue and shuttered when lightly braking at high speed since 5k miles(they didn’t cover it…typical bs), the start and stop was malfunctioning and the car would turn off literally while driving(software update fix), there was an issue with the infotainment clock, and the wipers hit the A pillar intermittently when it’s raining…

The car has a high idle and the transmission/throttle tuning is awful. IMO this makes for a terrible driving experience after cold starts and at slow speeds.
