Just wanted to share some of my runs. The 1/4 runs are more or less ran on the same stretch of road give or take a few hundred feet.

What year/model? Not bad for tune only. Here’s a run from my 2016 S8 running the DS1 Stage 2 104 octane file with custom TCU tune. Only hardware upgrade is boost creations intake.

2015 Audi S8, but wow those are crazy times! I’m going to have a TCU tune done soon so I will be able to see how much I can gain with that. I’m curious if anyone is running the S8 on E85 on stock turbos and if so what times they’re seeing.

That’s really good for a single gear pull, Im curious what it’d run dropping down to the lowest gear in sport mode.

For the S8, isn’t stage 3 for upgraded turbos?

You can run STG3 in the stockers. I've had zero issues with it. Just make sure you have intakes

I’ll give it a shot. My best 60-130 is 7.59 on stage 2 with no ethanol. I’m running about e29 right now with the DS1 set to e25.

I'd stick to the ds1 manual and not run stage 3 on stock turbos, but that's me.

I’m going out tonight to Mexico to see what it can do. I flashed it and did some quick pulls to check for any issues. Running e25 mix I had 0 knock on the 93 map. 0 knock on the 100 map. -2 knock on the 104 map. Boost spiked to 29psi, then settled at 26.5. Everything else looked great as well. Btres dyno showed an increase of 100ft/lbs of torque. Pulled super hard. Noticeable. Did a launch and it felt good. No issues in the log. Maybe I’ll get a new Best tonight.

132mph in the 1/4 is really moving for a sedan this heavy. How does it compare to the previous file you were running?

Ran a 10.59@131 prior, but most runs were mid to upper 10.6x with the occasional dip to the 10.59 (ran that time twice). Now it seems a to be very consistent mid 10.5x.

Same fuel I’m assuming? Looks to be very consistent, but the difference in times and speed isn’t something most would probably be able to ‘feel’.

No. Prior was 93 octane with 2 bottles of boostane. This was just 5 gallons of e85 and the rest 93.

Two bottles? I’m assuming you were targeting 104 octane?

Yes. Was trying to get as close to 104 as possible. E25 is definitely not 104 octane, but it’s knock resistant enough that there is still none on the 104 map, even without any additional octane booster.

So no fueling upgrades to run the E25? I know no HPFP, but can you run it without the LPFL?

You can but always log and check. 4th gear pull check, 3rd and 4th gear check, 234 check and then maybe do a full run.

I highly suggest getting a new fuel line just to replace the hard line between the 2 hpfps. You bypass a restriction in the factory line and help get more volume to the driver side hpfp.

APR Stage 1 93 file map after switching back over to this from the 100 octane map. Had about 2 gallons of the fuel I was running left over in the tank when I tipped the rest off with 93, surprised to see that the car performed the same as the 100 octane map with seemingly such a small amount mixed in with the 93 pump.

DS1 Stage 2 93 octane file running only pump 93. File feels very aggressive at lower speeds but top end is more tame compared to the APR file imo. On the launch when these runs were done there was a bit of tire slip, so I’m expecting probably just as good of 0-60 times as the APR file 93 file if not better when hooking.

@mcp do you take logs when running these? I think your knock limited on the ds1 s2 map. If you took a log, happy to look it over for ya.

What is the typical boost request for the stage two files? (Peak and taper)

DS1 Stage 2 100 octane ECU tune only. Running 6 gallons of pump e85 in a full tank of pump 93. Had my phone connected to the DS1 and that gave dragy the data loss error. That being said the car is a different animal, spun a tiny bit in 1st gear, but the AS4 tires are actually pretty damn good to be able to still cut sub 3 second 0-60 in sub freezing temps. Can’t imagine with a TCU tune and on actual E85 what it’d perform like.

Strange part is I think the tire spin actually helped in a way. If you look at how the g force line graph slowly builds up from the tire spin it’s almost like slipping a clutch until you are in the power band to not bog down. Coincidentally the best 0-60 time I’ve ever gotten in my S4 was the same way with a bit of slip until it grips n goes.

Nice! Did you leave the ethanol content unchanged in the DS1 interface or did you also manually set a content?

Yep, set it at E25 with the hopes that my math when I mixed is good enough to be within the acceptable fuel trim +\- 25% range to make any adjustments if needed. Will be using a pump that has 93 octane with 0% ethanol next time when I blend to keep the mixture as accurate as possible.

That’s exactly what I do. Congrats on the time. Pretty big improvement.
Thank you, will update with more dragy time slip posts as I progress through mod changes to help quantify performance improvements from each one.

M sent you an email. For others following this app had been pretty good for me.

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...lendCalculator

My 2016 has a 21.6g tank but with 21.16g set in the app it's closer to what the pump shows I actually put in.

I pull a ds1 log when I get to the bump, convert the Liters to gallons and then plug into the app and good to go. I usually take my 5 gal containers with me and test the E when I get home and make any adjustments necessary.

On the OTS Stage 3X 104 file car is running an ECU tune and now the HPFP and LPFL’s with ~65% ethanol. Car was not able to hook like I did before as is seen by my slower 0-60 compared to my previous Stage 2 run (around 0.5 seconds slower). Surprised that it was able to thick off a 10 second 1/4 with the spin. On the quicker of the two 60-130 run, the transmission took its sweet time shifting as can be seen in the graph as well, so I’m sure it’d benefit a bit from a TCU tune.

Added a TCU tune and can feel and see the difference I expected on dragy as well. Probably the fastest I can get using OTS stuff, will be trying to get a custom tune next.
