Does it look like the stock sport exhaust is being used?
Perhaps, yeah. But the IMS1100 is capable of making more steam so, I wonder what the restriction was in this setup. If it really was the stock sports exhaust, I can't help but to feel like that was the restriction. Even with my current Chinese titanium 3.5" exhaust, it's a restriction past 700-750whp. If I take just the muffler off, I gain 2-3 mph in my traps, which is very significant. I'm getting a new exhaust setup from 485 Designs that's 3.5" all the way through without and restrictions so, hopefully that'll pay off. But if I'm being honest, these things need a 4" exhaust from the downpipe to the tail pipe past 750whp.

If your current exhaust has a back muffler box instead of resonators that might be it. The 485 with only resonators should be a better flow is my guess. He did a great job a getting the sound to be more "mature" and with valves closed it's awesome for street and enjoyment cruising. Taking into account you gotta keep the window cracked a little. With some exceptions for smaller turbos the size of the exhaust is what your ears can stand. The turbo is the first potato in the system.

2-3 mph is quite a bit, will be good info to see what your traps do with the 485. He's also created a straight through system too. Is this the one you're getting?

It looks almost exactly like that with the exception that I had him give me two exhaust tail pipes instead of just one--I like the more OEM look. It's a single resonator system just like that one so, it should flow better. What'll really be interesting it seeing how it'll impact my wife's car (I had Nick make me an exhaust for my car and the wife's). As she has the AWE exhaust and is huffing 42psi through a TTE855 that is clearly being choked by said AWE system. I'm betting she sees a pretty sizeable gain from this swap.

I actually bought my 1700cc injectors from Gabriel. I can tell you that he's sandbagging his numbers a little. It actually trips me out how small the circle gets when you push this platform a little. It seems that basically all of us have spoken to, interacted with, bought something, etc., with/from each other. With my other cars, I basically knew no one.

TTRS Mk3 vs TT MK1, both modded

    https://youtu.be/Il-utmRl65I?t=167

Didn't catch the fuel, but the RS has to be on pump. Stock turbo on E85 can squeak under 7 sec 60-130. 100-200 kph is 62-124MPH, big difference (drag, power curve, etc), 6.9 sec 100-200 on this RS suggests problems with that build, lol. Why no manual shifting to take advantage of a larger turbo? Driver mod? Once that TT gets on boost it's ABC-ya!

The 1/8th just isn't for us. There are some 1/8th mile tracks somewhat near me and folks seem to wonder why I don't bother to go. Because of our launch control system, us having a DCT, and the way Haldex is in our cars, we will always have a lame delay after letting off of the brake to do a launch. On top of that, getting a good 60' is our Achilles Tendon. I watch G8X cars rip 1.4X 60's with street tires due to their RWD-based AWD system and be a full second slower in their 60-130 but will run almost exactly the same ET as me but with a much lower trap speed. It's super frustrating but, it's the nature of our cars at the moment. We need a better solution than Haldex controllers.

Doesn’t explain why it got smoked by the RS3 at the end. Something was up with that car in my opinion; possibly the driver too.

I lost a 11.0 index on a pro tree because of the delay. Doesn’t matter if I can get 11.000 because if my reaction time is .3 I’m going to cross the line second. Lesson learned

True. I tend to lean on the idea that it's likely the driver not helping the situation.

For sure. If it's a sportsman tree, just try to learn the timing of the tree and the timing of your launch control releasing. If you time it right, it should work out. Even in other cars I've launched throughout the years, leaving on the last yellow is the best technique I've used. With this car, I'd probably do the same to prevent a red light and to launch on par with my competition. With a pro tree, once both of you are staged, I'd let launch control go maybe half a second after that and see how that works out. Nonetheless, however, we just won't hook the same as other platforms off the line unless we make some rather substantial compromises (like the willingness to break our driveshaft on every launch). I know that Iroz has gotten some of their full blown race setups to hit 1.2X 60's but, that comes at a price that isn't overtly translated to the public.

Three hundred more, even at those levels is a big difference. Was the TT spinning? last race had a good start then it fell on it's face.

I speculated initially but later confirmed that he lost his AWD in the middle of those runs. 1300whp in a GTR vs 1000whp in a TTRS--I'd bet on the TTRS every time if there are no issues.

Short video of me and a friend doing an 1/8 mile. https://youtube.com/shorts/rFKhYTwhv...fGPTyayP5t_n8f

His car is a new Supra, E60 or close, pure 850, stage 1 trans, on some new mickey ss tires, meth injection, LPFP, HPFP, and other supporting mods

My car is TTE700, E85 (at 1 bar of gas), on a 580 tread daily hard tire not aired down, straight piped, port injectors, stock LPFP. Other supporting mods.

He ran 7.5 with a reaction in the .1 range His 60ft is down as he is still learning the car
I went 6.6 with a reaction of .8 I cut out up top (no fuel) and didnt build any boost at launch due to the tire still got a 1.59 60ft.

Nice run. What were the trap speeds of each respective car? It's so funny how these cars perform. For example, one of my better runs with my TC800XT on the street (I have no tracks nearby) was a 1.63 60' with no Haldex controller on 255 R888Rs but a 6.2@121mph. Your 60' is better, albeit it's at the track but, I always find it so interesting how close in performance our cars are in the 1/8th mile despite there being significant power differences--I'm betting the mph was a lot lower than my 121 but it just underscores why I don't bother going to an 1/8th mile track in my car. I just don't think that's where these cars shine. I was speaking with someone who was interested in buying my car and he also had a TTE700 TTRS making a whole lot less power but, he ran a 9.7@140mph in the 1/4 whereas I was around a 9.4@153. Our 60-130's were also pretty far off as he was in the high to mid 5's and I was in the 4.4-4.6 range.

I swear these cars perform just like high powered FWD cars.

I went 108 in that run. My best so far was a 114mph at 6.4 flat. I do have the haldex controller in the car. I have not spent any time playing with it tho. This was meant to be a go and watch day. But the track was dead so i said screw it ill run one.

Currently i have a 2019 mech unit in the car. I need to put my 2018 unit back in and start to adjust the Syvecs some to dial in the launch. Also need to order a tire. Car has a good bit more in it for sure.

This one is odd to me. TT trapped at 9.2@161, the bimmer 9.0@150. That MPH difference looks big. The TT smoked him off the line and 1/8th, how'd the bimmer get a lower ET at such a low MPH?. Nice signature growl from the Audi at launch.

Edited video (oohs & ahhs too) - that's what's odd - can't fool the laws of physics ...after that gap off the line, if actually true, I'd bet the bimmer would have to STILL be accelerating at more than 2g when he trapped, NOT likely, except for a Top Fuelly

TT RS vs RS3 8Y short track test. It's in Hungarian (anyone translate the deets? captioning is not working). Heard semi slicks =)
Looks like a stock 8Y, I see the rear end seems eager to rotate (no more Audi-steer?), suspension sees to have a hard time keeping things in check. The TT looked more stable, less drama. I think the TT squeaked out a breath of time faster with the second driver.

Info - "This week is the German house championship, and what's more, the brand championship, as two Audis will be our guests. The TT (RS) model is particularly interesting, as the German company has announced that it will withdraw the popular - although it cannot be called budget-friendly - sports car, whose opponent will be an equally powerful machine, the RS3."
