No spare tire on Q7 with adaptive air suspension?

Hey guys. I'm thinking about possibly purchasing a 2018 Q7 3.0T prestige w/ adaptive air suspension. Is there no spare tire when you have air suspension? The vehicle doesn't have run flats, so what do you when you have a flat? Try to plug on side of road, or call road side service? Seems like a real bummer.

On a side note, I had been setting my eyes on 2019+ BMW X5/X7 4.0 xdrive. The particular Q7 I came across seems to be a good deal with relative low mileage (under 37k miles). Am I crazy to want to buy a car with older technology, rather than spend $20-30k more on a newer vehicle?

It's equipped with an air compressor and bottle of tire sealant. They work well provided the flat can be repaired with sealant. Sealant can't seal cuts, tears, or punctures greater than 1/4". Also, the sealant has a shelf life of, I think, 3 years. Old sealant don't work well if at all.

I had a flat in mine over the summer. I used the air compressor and can of sealer that is provided. It worked but the sealer made the wheel get out of balance. I picked up a plug kit and will use that if the leak is small enough for the compressor to fill the tire to make the repair next time.

All Q7s of that generation do not come with a spare tire regardless of adaptive air suspension. The usual spot where you would carry the spare tire is used to store the amplifier and electronics instead. These cars come with run flat tires and an air compressor to refill them if needed. Hope this helps
