Egr replacement

Hey yall I have a 2012 a6 premium plus 3.0tfsi and I have a stuck open passenger's side egr valve and have 2 questions. 1)is there anything I can do to get it working again? 2)how hard is the install working out of a garage without a lift?
I'm pretty mechanically inclined and just replaced my pcv waterpump and thermostat myself.

I have used the search tool. I can find stuff for the 2.0, diesel ect but nothing for the 3.0t
