What correct LED load resistors for LED turn signal bulbs?

Will a 50W 6 ohm resistor work for the front and rear turn signals and also the fender turn signal?

I don't know what the resistance should be, but a 50 Watt resistor is total overkill for an LED that likely draws at most 5W. What is the reason that you want LED the bulbs? Incandescent bulbs have the major advantage of viewing angle, whereas LED bulbs often have a number of LED chips to improve the normally poor viewing angle.

The resistor will go in parallel to the LED, so the draw of the LED has no bearing on the wattage rating of the resistor.

    - The 2 original turn bulbs (per side) will pull 42Watts together or about 3.5 Amps.
    - The "threshold" for keeping the bulb-out hyperflash circuit happy is about 2.7 Amps.
    - Your LEDs probably pull a grand total of around 1.5 Watts for each side. So that's about 0.1 Amps.
    - So you need a resistor that will draw about 2.7 Amps minimum to make it happy.
    - Your 6 Ohm resistor will pull about 2 amps at 12 volts, and dissipate about 33 Watts at 14 volts. That might be barely enough.

The other option is to modify the Flasher Unit so it expects lower bulb current. This is really the best way to handle this situation.
