    KSP control arms?

    Has anyone ran these?

they came with my car, uninstalled, when I bought it.

plan to use this winter to prep the car for some track days next year and was wondering if these are worth the shot or not.

id most likely remove the factory style bushings and replace with power flex units, as that's the plan with the rest of the bushings.

Also could use some recommendations on rear adjustable control arms other then the 034 ones.

    KSP control arms?

I wouldn’t assume power flex bushings even fit

I had the 034s, and once I received them and actually saw how they handle adjustments, I sold them. I should have paid attention before I bought them. They are a royal PIA, and on car adjustment is virtually impossible. I didn’t want to make alignments any more time consuming than they already are up front.

Ended up biting the bullet and buying the 2Bennett, and very glad I did. The price wasn’t nice, but they are now 50k deep on the car, adjustments are simple, and they are silent. Properly engineered and proper components used.

That's why I don't want the 034, they look nice sure but they also look like a nightmare to adjust, being new to the track stuff idk how may times ill want to change up the alignment.

Also, your probably right, I did just assume they would fit and they may not, I guess if I decide to try them I should measure vs a factory one and see.

the ksp style (assuming it's like the ones it's copied), because of the way it adjusts, have problems holding alignment, snug lockbolts real tight. All of the racing style rod ends, you need to jack up the car on the frame machine to fine tune it, guess and check... and yeah, it takes time. but they're off the shelf rod ends with a custom aluminum insert for the inner side.

2bennet offers both styles, although it looks like they may be using uprated ball joints on the racing version, not sure what that means in terms of what rod ends they are, exactly. Rod ends, including aurora rod ends come in different levels of quality/price. Often they come with play right from the factory, unfortunately.

That's good to know, I'm going to measure the ksp bushing size next to an old oem upper and if the bushing size is the same. If I can run aftermarket bushings in it, I think I'm going to give them a try and see what happens.

I know its not on the same topic per say, but on the rear upper arms, does anyone know if there's any benefit on stamped vs cast?

I ask because part of my winter project this year is going to be prepping all new arms to make the bushing upgrade a bolt in process in the spring. Locally in our junk yards I can find a4's often, but never s4's, I know the rear lowers are the same, so I'm going to grab a spare set to clean up and pre install the bushings, id like to do the same on the rear uppers but I'm wondering if I should be on the lookout for a certain one. It seems to be mixed between both a4 and s4 on some coming with stamped and some coming with cast.

go for it. one other point, is that I didn't like poly bushings. made the car feel bouncy, squeeked(didn't care), and didn't last long (miata, rough backroads). New oem is the best option if you're not swapping bushings out regularly, imho. just adjustable front uppers (rest stock), pick your poison on that front though.
