One small note, at 2:39 it should be "...waiting for something bigger." or "...awaiting something bigger." you could also use larger instead of bigger.

It'll be interesting to see what the big tuning houses do with Stage 3 on the RS4 and RS5 since their Stage 3 S4s and S5s with a TTE710 are getting 0 - 60 times of 2.6 - 2.7 seconds.

I wonder what the reliable limits are with regards to the engine internals, plumbing, heat management. Anyone can produce power, but having it be reliable is a different matter. It's one thing to just have a project car that you don't care if it spends half its life in a shop.

Fair point. With tuning it's always "pay to play" but I would imagine that the big tuning houses are still being conservative with their tunes as it wouldn't be good business if their customers engines all started blowing up.

According to the current Dragy leaderboard, Gregor10 is no longer the fastest B9.x RS5 at 0mph-60mph, and hasn't been for over a year. His record was set 5/30/21. A member named Yang recorded a 0-60 time 0.05sec faster on 12/5/21.

However, Yang does not have a ¼-mile run better than Gregor10. So depending on how one defines "fastest", Gregor10 may or may not be the "fastest".

    Just sayin' ...

A 0.05 sec difference can be the difference in how quickly one releases a brake pedal, or a few degrees difference in air temp or humidity. So unless those variables are the same, a 0.05 sec difference is far from statistically significant.

It still comes down to how long you want your engine to last. Look at race car engines. They last a few races. The big tuners make these upgrades available for people who want to build their cars and maybe just drive them once in a while. Very different from being a daily driver. Just don't think that you can have big power and the reliability of a daily driver for 50,000+ miles. Or if you have the power, you can't just hammer the car all the time day after day. Also, people who tune their cars to these levels are usually avid enthusiasts who know what they are getting into. There aren't too many "average" drivers who will be building a stage 3+ car.

Looks like the engine internals were built - it's not stock. First time I'm seeing a non-stock 2.9 engine. Transmission was upgraded as well

All may be true, but Gregor10 no longer has the world record. Yang has it.
