Clutch pedal intermittently doesn't return all the way to the top

As the title states, my clutch pedal intermittently doesn't return all the way to the top and I have to slide my toebox in behind it and manually move it. Car also doesn't shift great 1-3. Car is fairly new to me so not sure if I could say the two are related, but any thoughts/ideas would be great. Thank you!

Most likely your slave cylinder is done. I had this coming out of a parking lot. Clutch pedal dropped to the floor and I was stuck. Read on here that you pull the pedal up with your toes and sure enough that was enough to get me home. Swapped out the slave and reverse bled it and all was back to normal. Make sure to grease up the rubber bellows before inserting the slave into the tranny or it’s a bugger to get back in with just arm strength. I had to come up with a way to get enough force to compress the spring using a ratchet strap.

Thank you for the info, I seem to remember there being a better slave for performance clutch setups? Any have a recollection? I will check JHM first and see what I can learn.
