23' Q5 vs 21' SQ5

Hi everyone. I'm looking to purchase an Audi here in the short term (less than a month).

Narrowed my options down to 2 cars which are a 2023 Q5 Premium Plus with Black Optics or a 2021 SQ5 Premium Plus with Sport Package.

Having a brand new car in the Q5 definitely gives me an ease of mind but the SQ5 just feels so good to drive. A brand new SQ5 is outside of my budget so the other option is finding a used 2021 SQ5.

One dealership near me can get me a 2023 Glacier White Q5 Premium Plus with the Black Optics package and Warm Weather package for just under 55k. There are also a few 2021 SQ5 Premium Plus in the area with the Sport package around the 55k mark as well.

I'm having trouble deciding which to get. If I get the Q5, I'd definitely would want to get a Stage 1 flash to help lessen the gap between the two models but also worried about buying a used higher performance car in the SQ5.

Anyone else gone through this predicament?

If you’re going to void your power train warranty on the new Q5 by immediately flashing an ECU tune then just buy the used SQ5.

thats actually a good point. If i were to get the Q5, i would wait a bit to get it flashed but eventually would lead to that

Get the SQ5. If you don’t, you’ll always wonder what if and eventually trade up anyway. Skip to the best option and save yourself the trouble.

Just a thought, as well - Could look for a low mile 2020 SQ5 prestige for a bit less and save a few bucks if you don't care too much for the facelift and touchscreen. If you are set on the facelift and touchscreen then ignore me.
I picked up a 2020 SQ5 Prestige 26k miles with every option minus dynamic steering for 50k. Factory tow hitch was also on it. ~$1200+ to install later on at the dealer.
